The Dining Room @ The White Horse, fully refurbished in 2016, overlooks the pub garden and provides a warm and relaxed environment to enjoy fine seasonal dishes prepared by Award-Winning Head Chef, Valentino Gentile and his team.
The Dining Room is open daily at lunchtimes where the pub menu and a selection of seasonal daily specials are served. On Wednesday through Saturday evenings, the Head Chef offers an à la Carte selection of interesting & seasonal dishes, with the menu changed on a regular basis ensuring that our produce maintains a quality, freshness and diversity that will suit all tastes. A Tasting Menu is also offered for a special experience. Sundays in the Dining Room are all about traditional roasts and relaxed company without all the work of doing it at home!

- Dinner: Wednesday to Saturday - 18.00 - 21.30 (last orders)
- Sunday: Lunch 12.00 - 18.00 (last orders).

The Dining Room is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Younger guests are welcome in the Saloon Restaurant.

I am very excited to be at The White Horse in the heart of the Surrey Hills, the area where I started my career.
With the support of our highly talented & committed kitchen team, as well as the help of a small number of hand-picked suppliers and local Surrey & West Sussex farms, I aim to provide a menu that evolves throughout the year with carefully selected seasonal produce presented at its best.
My ethos towards cooking is simple: “honest food prepared with passion & care to enhance natural flavours & aromas”.
